Beat Blender (Blending Drum Patterns)
An experiment where four different drum patterns sit at the corners of a square and moving through the space between them produces new in-between beats. It lets you hear what rhythms can exist between two rhythms.
How to try it
Press "PLAY", assign preset beats such as Rock, Reggaeton, Bossa, or Basic Backbeat to the four corners, then drag or draw a path across the middle pad to hear the blended beats play along that path. You can adjust the tempo and download the result as a MIDI file. It will not run in unsupported browsers, so Chrome is recommended.
